9-1-1

I had the opportunity to pipe for an episode of 9-1-1, and what an unforgettable experience it was. We filmed a procession scene honoring a fallen officer (in the storyline), marching down a totally shut-down stretch of Downtown LA — surreal to see those streets empty. There’s something exciting and adrenaline-filled about performing in a place that’s usually chaos. I’ll probably never get to walk down the middle of Grand Ave again with a full honor guard… at least not without a police escort!

We also shot scenes at Forest Lawn the next day. I REALLY want to get a red feather for my Glengarry now! Two great days on set! Thanks to John Allan for putting my name in the hat for this gig!
